Some places in Africa still have problems with the plague, which is carried by fleas. In a study in Tanzania, researchers found that certain fleas, like Xenopsylla brasilliensis, live in both homes and on rodents. They suggest teaching people about hygiene and flea control to help stop the spread of the disease.
